Intersect can be contracted for specific projects in the sector, be they full-time or part-time.

Projects the company has undertaken include:

• In 2006/7, “COGS Mentoring Project” as funded by Dept Communities under the Building Links initiative. This was an exciting opportunity to match the skills of more experienced community workers with others who were seeking informed guidance on practice issues. Matches were made across sectors and across a broad geographical area. Part of the project was also to develop a resource hub website to support the mentors in their quest for further information and professional development. This was achieved by re-designing the existing website of the Mackay Regional Council for Social Development, a not-for-profit community organisation. Check it out » here.

• In 2008, Intersect was contracted to undertake an accessibility audit for the Whitsunday Regional Council. The research and subsequent draft Equity and Access Plan was adopted in its entirety by the Council with a public testimonial by the Deputy Mayor commending the work.
